Lara Sevanot Davis is Head of Portfolio Management for UBP Alternative In¬vestments, Europe, Member of Senior Management.
He joined UBP in this newly created role in December 2006 from Credit Suisse Asset Management, where he undertook a similar role. Prior to that, he spent all his career at Schroders, latterly as an Executive Director with responsibility for Global Consultant Relationships..
Mrs. Sevanot Davis is responsible for managing Geneva and London based discretionary man¬aged accounts and oversees the Dinvest range of funds-of-funds products. She joined UBP in August 2005 and serves as Head of Portfolio Management - Europe for the Group UBP. From Janu¬ary 2001 to July 2005, Ms. Sevanot was Vice President, Invest¬ments with Ivy Asset Management Ltd. She served as Head of Investments of Ivy’s UK subsidiary having primarily established Ivy’s research effort in the UK. From 1997 to 2000, Ms. Sevanot was initially Research Manager then Investment Manager with London based Stenham Gestinor, an asset management com¬pany specialising in Alternative Investments.
Prior to that, she was involved in the systems development and marketing of a start-up hedge fund, Solaris. She was also a broker-dealer on futures and options with Yamaichi and Refco in Europe
After a 5-year cycle of studies, Mrs. Sevanot Davis graduated in 1993 from the Institut de Management International de Paris (part of the Group INSEEC, Institut des Hautes Etudes Economiques et Commerciales), France, with a Master’s degree in International Management.
