Stefan Pollmann is a Founding Partner and the Chief Operating Officer of SemperMacro Capital LLP, the Investment Manger of the SemperMacro Master Fund Limited, a discretionary Global Macro fund led by Christian Siva-Jothy, former head of proprietary trading at Goldman Sachs.

Prior to joining SemperMacro, Stefan worked at Rubicon Fund Management LLP, another Global Macro fund. From 1995-2000 he was a trader on Salomon Brothers’ Foreign Exchange desk in both London and New York where he helped build their emerging market local currency franchise business. Stefan briefly worked at Goldman Sachs in 1994 during a summer internship in their London based Fixed Income group. Stefan started his career in Salomon Brothers’ Corporate Finance department in 1991 in Los Angeles.

Stefan received an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1995 and a B.A. in Economics from UCLA in 1991.
