Lord Clive Hollick is a Partner at Private Equity Firm Kohlberg, Kravis, Roberts & Co. (KKR) and focuses on the media and financial services sectors.
Founded in 1976, KKR has pioneered the Private Equity industry and completed over 150 transactions valued at approximately $318 billion. Since joining KKR in 2005, Lord Hollick has been involved in the firm’s acquisition of VNU and SBS Broadcasting, among others. He is currently a director of Logica, Havas, TRW Inc., Bae Systems, Diageo PLC and Honeywell International.
From 1996-2005, Lord Hollick was the CEO of what is now United Business Media PLC, the international newspaper and magazine publisher, broadcaster and market research group. He became CEO of UBM in 1996 after United Newspapers merged with Mills & Allen International, the media and market research firm he had been building since 1973 when he started as CEO of MAI’s predecessor JH Vavasseur Group.
Lord Hollick began his career as an investment banker with Hambros Bank in 1967.
He became a member of the House of Lords in 1991.
