Professor Ron Anderson Professor Anderson is co-director of the Financial Markets Group (FMG) where he heads up the programme on Risk Management and Fixed Income Markets.
He has broad interest in the field of financial economics. In recent years much of his work has centred upon dynamic contingent claims analysis both theoretical (“The Design and Valuation of Debt Contracts,” (with S. Sundaresan). Review of Financial Studies. (1996)) and empirical (“A Comparative Study of Structural Models of Corporate Bond Yields,” Journal of Banking and Finance (joint with S.Sundaresan) 2000).
More recently he has been working on models of financial contracting in a dynamic agency frame¬work. He has an active interest in financial institutions. In this field he carried out a study of finance in ex-communist countries.
