Jon Moulton serves as the Managing Partner of Alchemy Partners LLP, a Private Equity Group formed in 1997. Alchemy is based in London and invests in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Alchemy’s investments typically range from £25m to £160m and the organization has advised on over 100 transactions which have been completed with more than £1.6 billion of equity invested to date.
Prior to his work at Alchemy, Moulton was director in charge of buy-outs at Apax and served as Managing Partner at Schroder Ventures (now Permira) in London from its inception in 1985 until 1994. He also worked at Citicorp Venture Capital in London and New York.
Moulton graduated with a BA in chemistry from the University of Lancaster and is a Chartered Accountant
