Guy Townsend has been recruiting in the alternative assets arena for almost two decades. He is Joint Managing Director of Walker Hamill Executive Search & Selection and has led the firm's private equity and alternative assets practice since inception. Widely regarded as the market leader in European alternative assets resourcing, the firm typically handles over seventy-five appointments each year. Besides providing recruitment services, he also assists funds with their annual remuneration reviews, the appraisal of management teams and bespoke referencing. Additionally, Guy co-led the management team which successfully steered Walker Hamill through two management buyouts.
